Local processing

Library metadata, thumbnails, collections and search indexes stay locally. Browsing photos, video and motion photos does not require uploading your whole library. Downloading or updating a model may require a connection; compatible video and motion previews can also create local cache files.

Optional cloud actions

Cloud image generation, editing, background removal, outpainting and upscaling require a connection. They may send selected images and prompts to the backend and the processing provider when you run the action, and consume credits as shown by the tool.

Accounts and diagnostics

Sign-in, plan refresh and credit queries connect to the AePix backend. Anonymous diagnostics are optional and can be reviewed in settings. The website update form submits the email you enter; see the privacy policy for website data handling.

Troubleshooting

Check indexing progress for incomplete local search and format or codec support for playback failures. For cloud actions, check your connection, account and credit balance. Do not paste passwords, session tokens or private assets into feedback.
